Chaé Manufacturing, LLC (“Chaé,” “we,” “us”) operates this website from Walsenburg, Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only, not to the products we manufacture for other brands.
Information you give us
You can browse the site without telling us who you are. We collect personal information only when you send it through one of two forms:
- Manufacturing review / quote request. Name, email address, telephone, company and website, and the product details you choose to share (category, formula status, volumes, packaging, timeline, and free-text notes). We use this to evaluate whether your project is a fit and to respond to you.
- Employment application. Contact details, work authorization, availability, education, employment history, references, and the other answers on the application. We use this only to consider you for employment. We do not ask for a Social Security number on the online form; if one is needed later in hiring, it is requested directly and handled separately.
Each submission is emailed to the relevant Chaé team and a copy is stored on our web server in a directory that is not publicly accessible. We do not sell this information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records basic technical data for every request: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page, and timestamps. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps these logs for security and troubleshooting.
We also use analytics to understand how the site is used:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 — page views, approximate location, device and browser, and how visitors move through the site. Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising — session recordings, heatmaps, and ad measurement, governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
These tools set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your form submissions for marketing lists unless you ask us to.
- We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept for as long as the conversation is active and for up to three years afterward so we can pick up where we left off. Employment applications are kept for up to two years from submission, or longer if you are hired. Server logs are retained by our host on a rolling basis.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Colorado residents have these rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and residents of other states may have similar rights. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored in protected directories on the server and emailed to Chaé staff over an authenticated mail connection. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the information involved.
Links to other sites
The site links to Google Maps, LinkedIn, and other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes to how we use form data will be noted here.
