Meet the Team Behind the Products
Manufacturing is ultimately a people business. Formulation, quality, operations, purchasing, client coordination, production, and every handoff in between depend on experienced people paying attention to the details.
At Chaé, exceptional leadership is measured not only by expertise, but by character, service, and the commitment to help others succeed.
The People Leading the Work
At Chaé, exceptional leadership is measured not only by expertise, but by character, service, and the commitment to help others succeed. The cards stay focused on the essentials; longer biographies open separately so the page stays easy to scan.
Linda Chaé
Founder & Chief FormulatorLinda Chaé founded Chaé and has spent more than 35 years in formulation, skin histology, raw material study, processing, product marketing, and client support. Every ToxicFree® standard the company holds today started with her refusal to put an ingredient into a product that she would not put on her own family.
Linda’s formulation work started long before Chaé had a building. At 21 she bought a small skin care line, sold it out of a yellow Volkswagen Bug, and went on to make the first Chaé formulas in her kitchen—with a production tank built from an old whiskey still. When her research into raw materials linked common personal care ingredients to endocrine disruption, infertility, birth defects, and cancer, she made one commitment that still governs the company: Do No Harm.
That commitment became ToxicFree®—formulating without parabens, propylene glycol, or ethoxylated compounds at a time when no such category existed, and solving the emulsification and preservation problems most formulators avoided. It also took her to Washington, D.C., where she has met with Congressional leaders, the Surgeon General, and the FDA to press for removing toxic ingredients from consumer products. Under her leadership, Chaé was named a Colorado Companies to Watch winner in 2013.
Linda built the company’s standards before there was a market asking for them. Her formulation instincts are the reason Chaé asks harder questions about ingredients than most manufacturers, and her decades of hands-on work are the reason those questions come with answers.
